BioImaging course 2016

The bioimaging course is a practical course offered to master students in the summer term. The course focuses on applying state of the art bioimaging techniques. These include confocal microscopy, STED microscopy, Spinning Disc Microscopy and OMX/3D SIM microscopy. This selection of microscopes offers a various number of biological applications, including FRAP and many others. By following a typical workflow - starting from sample preparation to quantative analysis - the students learn how to evaluate the images and interpret them. The results of this year’s course are shown on this website.
